SEND Teaching Assistant Level 2
Woodthorpe Primary School

Woodthorpe Primary School is a happy, exciting and caring community in which each child thrives.

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within our team to provide support for some of our most vulnerable pupils. The role will involve some small group intervention work, some 1:1 support for pupils and some work within our Nest SEN provision.

You will have experience of working with children or young people, and ideally have some previous experience of working with children with SEND. You will have the skills to work alongside class teachers and our school SENDCo to ensure that children are able to access an ambitious curriculum and make positive progress against their own personal targets.

We are looking for someone who:-

  • Is calm, caring and consistent in their approach
  • Is committed to maintaining our high standards and wants to make a difference
  • Is willing to ‘go that extra mile’ to better the life chances of our children
  • Is passionate about the ethos and values of the school

In return, we can offer a supportive working environment, with colleagues who care deeply, are experts in their fields and who are passionate about what they do.
