After School and Holiday Club Manager
Knavesmire Primary School

Knavesmire Primary School is looking to appoint a caring and dedicated person to coordinate and lead all aspects of the school’s after school and holiday club provision for pupils (KCKC).

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality care and provision for the pupils who attend the provision. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils, preparing and delivering engaging activities and supervising the dedicated teams of staff who care for and look after our pupils.

You will have experience of working with children or young people and a minimum of a Level 2 qualification that is relevant to working within the after school/holiday club environment, as well as GCSE qualifications in English and maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent. Additional qualifications in food hygiene and first aid are desirable, but training will be provided if you do not already hold these. You will be able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents/carers and staff, and have experience of planning and delivering engaging activities for pupils, making the school’s provision a warm, fun and supportive place to be. Our Kids Club is a thriving environment. It’s busy, has a skillful workforce, and is an exciting project for a leader new to the post!

In return, we can offer a supportive working environment, with colleagues who care deeply, are experts in their fields and who are passionate about what they do. We also offer a range of staff benefits, and further details regarding our benefits and information about our Trust can be found on our website.
