Millthorpe School is seeking to recruit an Art and Design Technician to support the delivery of Art and Food Technology lessons by undertaking a range of practical, administrative and classroom based tasks. The successful applicant will support the teaching staff in ensuring that a safe and well-equipped environment is provided in order to support teaching and learning.
You will have Level 2 qualifications in English and maths, knowledge of health and safety legislation and experience of art/technology practices and equipment. You will also have, or be willing to obtain, a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification and a First Aid qualification. The successful candidate will have a personal interest in art, design and/or food preparation and a passion for helping young people learn, combined with good communication skills in order to build effective relationships with our students and staff.
