Knavesmire Primary School is seeking to recruit a Reception and Administration Assistant to join our busy, friendly administration team. We are looking for someone highly organised, self-motivated, solution focused and who welcomes the opportunity to use his or her initiative.
As a member of the administration team you are one of the first people that visitors come into contact with and therefore we are looking for someone who is friendly, welcoming and able to keep calm at all times.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, flexible and able to prioritise their workload to ensure targets are met. They will have a cheerful, good humoured, patient nature and be able to communicate effectively ensuring all stakeholders’ needs are met.
You will be expected to have an excellent telephone manner, a genuine passion for working in a child-centred environment and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will possess excellent I.T. skills and have experience of using Microsoft Office software.
The nature of the role will require you to exercise discretion and respect confidentiality at all times.
The trust will be undertaking a job evaluation exercise in the near future and, therefore, the grade for this position may change.

- Grade 4 Level 1 to 4 (£24,335 to £25,503 per annum) reduced pro rata, pay award pending. Actual Annual Salary £20,344.26 to £21,320.72
