York High School is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Attendance Support Worker to work with Pastoral and SEN leaders to improve the attendance of identified pupils.
The successful candidate will need to be confident and able to communicate effectively with students, parents/carers and staff. They will be required to travel independently to the homes of pupils and therefore should have their own car and insurance for business use. They will also be approachable and able to work collaboratively with parents/carers. It would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of SIMS and be a confident user of IT systems.
In return, we can offer a supportive working environment, with colleagues who care deeply, are experts in their fields and who are passionate about what they do. We also offer a range of staff benefits, and further details regarding our benefits and information about our Trust can be found on our website.
The trust will be undertaking a job evaluation exercise in the near future and, therefore, the grade for this position may change.
We would strongly encourage any prospective candidate to visit the school. Please email Dawn Becton at d.becton@yorkhigh.elt.org.uk if you would like to arrange a visit to the school.
