Carr Junior School is seeking a resourceful, innovative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to support the physical health of our pupils by encouraging them all to take part in physical activities, especially during lunch time.

The successful candidate will plan, manage, and deliver a range of activities consistent with the physical education curriculum. You will have experience of delivering interventions to pupils in a school or educational setting and you will possess five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above or equivalent, including English and maths. You will also have a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain this qualification. You will be able to quickly build effective relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers in order to support pupils to become the best that they can be.

  • 18 hours per week (Monday – Friday 12.15pm – 3.15pm with 3 additional hours of after school club provision)
  • Grade 6 Level 1 to 4 (£27,513 to £30,015 per annum) pro rata, pay award pending. Actual Annual Salary £11,500.55 to £12,546.39
  • Closing Date: midnight on Wednesday 11 June 2025

  • Start Date: 1 September 2025
