Announcing the Inaugural Excel Staff Recognition Awards!

We are extremely excited to announce the inaugural Excel Staff Recognition Awards – a special event where we come together to celebrate the incredible individuals who make our Trust community thrive. We can’t wait to shine the spotlight on those who go above and beyond in their roles.

These awards are a way for us to express our gratitude for the tireless effort, hard work, dedication and passion that each of you bring to the table. Whether you’re a support staff member, teaching staff, leader, or volunteer, this is our opportunity to recognise you for the amazing impact you make and for ensuring that our children experience educational excellence every day.

The award winners will be announced at a celebratory event on 10 July 2025.

And the categories are…

Excelling as a Teaching Staff Member
For those who bring passion, knowledge, and inspiration to the classroom. This award goes to the educator who makes a lasting impact on the lives of children every day.

Excelling as a Support Staff Member
For the unsung heroes who provide the backbone of our organisation; those whose hard work and commitment to support the whole team do not go unnoticed.

Excelling as a Leader
For the individuals who inspire and guide others through their vision and leadership. This is for those who set the standard of excellence and motivate everyone.

Excelling as an ECT (Early Career Teacher)
For the promising and hardworking early career teachers who demonstrate exceptional growth, enthusiasm, and dedication to shaping the future of education.

Excelling as a Volunteer
For those who generously give their time and energy to support us. Volunteers are essential to everything we do, and this award recognises their unwavering dedication.

Excelling as an Innovator
For those who bring new ideas, creativity, and forward-thinking approaches that elevate how we work and teach. Innovation is key to progress, and this award celebrates the trailblazers among us.

Excelling Through Collaboration
For the team player who fosters cooperation, teamwork, and unity. This award honours those who know that together, we achieve more.

Excelling Through Parent or Community Recognition
An award which is parent or community nominated. For those who build strong relationships outside of our Trust, making sure that our school is not just a place for children but a hub of support and connection.

Excelling Through Kindness
For the kind-hearted individuals who go the extra mile to make our Trust a warmer, more compassionate place. This award recognises those who show that small acts of kindness can create monumental change.

The Excel Special Achievement Award
This award is for the staff member who has demonstrated exceptional and outstanding achievement or contribution, who has truly made a difference in our Trust. 

How do I nominate?

Nominations will open on 10 March 2025 – a Google Form will be shared in order for you to make your nominations. We encourage you to nominate colleagues who embody excellence in all of these areas. Further details will be shared with you soon and you can also take a look at our web page.

This is your chance to be part of a celebration of excellence and to thank those who make our community exceptional. Let’s make this awards ceremony one to remember!
