This comprehensive safer recruitment course will equip leaders with the knowledge needed to ensure recruitment practices are compliant with statutory requirements, including Keeping Children Safe in Education.
Using the accredited course materials and exercises from the safer recruitment consortium, delegates will learn about the reasons for safer recruitment and the range of background checks we undertake to ensure the risk of appointing unsuitable people to work with children is minimised as much as possible. They will also consider the policies and practices of their schools to make their organisation safer, including the promotion of a culture of vigilance at all times.
Please note that this is not a general course on how to recruit but is specifically around the requirements of safer recruitment.
